Course Aims
Who Should Attend?Designed for all operatives responsible for the planning and execution of Lifting Operations. This course will make candidates more aware of the appointed person’s responsibilities and how best to fulfil them. The aim of this course is to provide candidates with underpinning knowledge in order for them to understand the role and responsibility of the Appointed Person. Following successful completion of the course candidates will be able to identify and implement safe systems of work for lifting operations including writing risk assessments and method statements.
Certification
This coursewill give candidates a CPCS Red Trained Operator card (on successful completionof CPCS Technical Tests)PrerequisitesYou should have sufficient experience of cranes to meet the requirements specified in British Standard 7121 Safe Use of Cranes.You must have a basic understanding and knowledge of current Health & Safety issues. The relevant Health & Safety touch screen tests must be current and in date. (Completed within the last 24 months).
