Course description
This course is suitable for those who have already studied Spanish for 2 terms. The course is based on a communicative approach and aims to develop the skills of listening, speaking, reading and writing in the foreign language. It aims to enable students to understand and use Spanish effectively for purposes of practical communication, to develop some understanding of grammar and to offer insights into the culture of Spanish speaking countries. By the end of the course you will have been given the opportunity to: express likes, dislikes and preferences; talk about your town; talk about free time activities; arrange to go to the cinema or theatre; buy bus, train, plane tickets; explain what you are going to do. You will have learnt some basic grammar, in particular: adjectives of feelings, the present tense of regular and irregular verbs, the verbs, Comparatives and superlatives, the future tenses (immediate and simple), Object pronouns.
