Course description
This course aims to provide revision and extension for those who have passed AS level or achieved a broadly equivalent standard of language skill, and for those who wish to go further without the immediate prospect of examination. It will concentrate on active language use and on the reinforcement of grammatical elements covered during the AS course. The course employs a communicative approach and students will have the maximum opportunity to participate in the class through role plays, debates, expressing their views etc. The course will also give attention to aspects of the history, economy and culture of Spanish-speaking countries. By the end of the 10 weeks you will have been given the opportunity to: communicate with increased accuracy and confidence in Spanish, through speaking, listening, reading and writing; talk about different aspects of the countries where Spanish is spoken, including the media, daily life, the arts and social issues.
