Course description
This course will suit people who have already studied Japanese for three terms or who have studied the text book "Japanese For Busy People 1" up to Lesson 15/16, and can be read and write hiragana, katakana and some kanji (numbers, days of the week and some verbs). The aim of the course is to develop your confidence and ability to communicate effectively and express opinions in authentic situations such as social occasions and everyday conversation. Students are expected to be confident using hiragana as well as katakana. The focus of the course is on all four skills, particularly speaking, listening and reading. Basic grammar will be explained to help understand the structure of the language.
