In this course you will learn how to use Adobe Dreamweaver to produce attractive, well laid-out web sites. Dreamweaver is a visual editor for HTML (web) pages, but allows you to do much more than simply edit page layouts. If you want to create and maintain well organised, professional web sites then you need this course. Whether you are already producing your own web pages or starting from scratch, you will benefit from the skills, tips and techniques covered on this introductory course. By the end of the course, using practical hands-on tuition, you will have an understanding of the following features and techniques: Setting Up a Web site - learn how to set up and structure a website; format Pages - use the WYSIWYG tools to format a page (changing fonts, backgrounds, paragraph formatting and list styles); add Links - add internal, external, email and anchor links; graphics - insert graphics, understand graphic formats, add background colours, add rollover graphics and Flash buttons; import Text- import text from Microsoft Word and format it into a web page; tables - create and manipulate tables; HTML Editing - learn the basics of HTML structure and how to edit HTML in Dreamweaver; CSS Styles - make use of Dreamweaver HTML styles tool to format text; templates - learn how Templates can be used to speed up web page production and ensure design consistency; testing - learn how to test your web pages in different browsers and test the links in your website; publishing - learn how to publish your website to a webserver.
