Pearson BTEC Level 5 HND in Computing (RQF)
This is a non-specialist ‘Computing’ pathway, which allows students to complete a Pearson BTEC Higher National Diploma without committing to a particular professional specialism.

Suitability - Who should attend?
Pass in HNC in Computing. All the students must have completed a HNC qualification mainly in a Computing related area to be considered for HND in Computing.
Who is the course for?
This is a one year course which will extend the range of skills and techniques developed as part of the HNC in Computing qualification. It also extends personal qualities and attributes essential for successful performance in working life and thereby enabling you to make an immediate contribution to employment. It will also provide flexibility, knowledge, skills and motivation as a basis for future studies and career progression in computing and systems development.

Monday-Friday
09:00 - 17:00
You will be taught by highly qualified subject specialists by a mixture of lectures, seminars and workshops. There will also be the opportunity to attend lectures from expert speakers. Taught lessons will take place for 14 hours a week and 1 hour a week of pastoral/ tutorial session. The teaching time may also include in-class software practical sessions and extra hardware practical sessions.
In addition, student will be expected to use learning resource centre to do their independent learning to complete the assessments.
