Throughout this one week programme, students will learn best practices and methods, design strategy and management, design for modern platforms (web, mobile, internet of things, wearables, service design), tools. More experienced professionals can expect to deepen their knowledge and will get a fresh perspective — they should leave feeling more confident by the end of the programme, knowing they are working on a world-class level of competence. Younger, more inexperienced designers and product managers will learn modern digital product design practices firsthand. And of course, the course is a fantastic networking opportunity.

As a result, London has accumulated a great number of brilliant world-renowned designers. Plus the UK has always been known for its systematic approach, so it is definitely a place to learn how to deal with projects big and small.

This course is a mix of lectures and workshops, all conducted at designers’ natural working environment that gives even better perspective on how they create the most successful products. This experience will boosts your skills, bring new connections and positive emotions.

MARVEL

Marvel is an excellent online tool which allow designers to create prototypes of mobile applications and web projects. Their design team will give a talk on creating products for designers and understanding industry needs.

DESIGN STUDIO

DesignStudio is a global brand and design agency with offices in the creative hubs of London and San Francisco. They are responsible for the rebranding of Airbnb, that went viral and became an example of the new approach to designing a digital brand experience. They also redesigned worked on the Spark project for Design Council and created brand guidelines for Nokia.

CXPARTNERS

Cxartners are experts in customer experience and they combine cutting edge technologies to create experiences that are magical, surprising and radically simple. They work with the biggest brands like Nationwide, BBC, Marriott, Experian and Ebay helping organisations integrate new ideas and services.

FUTURE LEARN

Training Course Content

Boosting Breakfast

T​he first activity of the day includes informal activities over breakfast to activate brain and body to receive the creative stimuli of the day. During the boosting breakfasts you will interact with other participants, share your ideas, experiences and expectation for the day and meet local professionals to get to know more about the backstage of the creative industry.

Morning Session

It is the first session of the day, it will take the form of a lecture or a hands-on workshop.

Practical Exercise

A short task to follow up morning session and make everyone unlock their brain's full potential

Lunch Break

Between the morning and afternoon sessions w​e will have a short break when you will have an opportunity to have lunch and enjoy the surroundings of the day programme locations.

Afternoon Session

I​t is the second session of the day, where you will have a chance to visit another top London agency and listen to their team revealing secrets they use in everyday work

Debrief and the City

A​fter a long day of absorbing new ways of working, idea brainstorming and creative exercises we will debrief the content of the day to better organise them in our minds. This activity will be short and engaging and it will take place straight after the afternoon session in locations that we can then visit as cultural and social activities such as museums, galleries, event spaces or bars.

The Weekend

T​he weekend will be dedicated to cultural and social activities, visitings exhibitions and exciting places in London.

Expenses

The cost of this programme is £1,995 with accommodation and £1,625 without accommodation.
