DimenSions – dimensions-uk.org
First Response Training have been working with Dimensions since early 2007 to provide a wide range of health and safety and social care training courses to their staff. The training programmes delivered to Dimensions include Basic Life Support, Moving and Assisting People, Epilepsy Awareness and Risk Assessment. They also provide live online (‘webinar’) training in fire safety and have provided Care Certificate distance learning manuals for Dimensions. They have also recently worked with them to develop a number of service-specific services for people with learning disabilities, autism, challenging behaviour and complex needs. They provide supported living, residential care and short breaks and have services based across the country providing personalised support for thousands of vulnerable adults.
Training courses that are delivered in the relevant settings, using their own equipment and providing training and practice in the real-life situations that staff based at that service will encounter. Course materials are dual branded for Dimensions, to include their logo, and include language and content tailored to meet the needs and objectives of the organisation, as well as incorporating their own policies, procedures and learning platforms.
"The relationship between Dimensions and FRT is an example of
true partnership working in action. They provide us with dedicated
account management and are always working hard to meet our
needs and are able to adapt, tweak and change courses to meet
our new strategies and objectives, while meeting national standards."
