Course description
This day will discuss the varied roles of the theatre nurse, from admitting the surgical patient through to post-operative care. We will also cover theatre management, including infection control and hygiene standards. The day will be adaptable to provide time for discussion and case based scenarios depending on the needs of the audience. Delegates are encouraged to bring questions and situations they find challenging to discuss, and hopefully provide some options to try back in practice.
