The practical 1 day course conducted by a senior banking expert course focus on the practical reporting aspects of transactions and positions to be reported under SFTR. It describes how and when Stock Borrow Loans (SBL), Repos (repurchase transactions and buy/sell-backs), Collateral and Margin Loans, should be reported to SFT trade repositories, and highlights the challenges and possible resolutions implemented in the buy-side and the sell-side. The reporting fields are described under various scenarios in the transaction life cycle, along with a series of sample reports simulating different security types and scenarios.
This workshop covers all aspects of regulatory reporting, from organisational scope, to data validation, data sourcing, counterparty and entity identification, and asset class/instrument identification – and resulting impact to Front, Middle and Back Office processes.
By the end of this practical one day course you will:
