RSPH Level 4 Award in Nutrition - 5-day open or blended training course 
This RSPH Level 4 Award in Nutrition course is an advanced programme designed for individuals looking to develop an in-depth understanding of how nutrition and diet affect a person's health.
Run over 5 days, the course is designed for professionals with responsibilities related to the preparation of meals, diets or menus, as well as those who play a role in the promotion of healthy eating. The ultimate goal is to equip them with a solid knowledge of:
- the nutritional requirements of a healthy diet
- the influence of diet on health
- the importace of appropriate hydration
- food labelling and advertising legislation
Candidates study a single unit entitled Principles of Nutrition, but can choose to take additional units at a later date to achieve more advanced Level 4 qualifications.
Ellison-Webb Training are able to offer a partial distance learning and partial attendance course to candidates requiring greater flexibility at an additional fee.

This RSPH Level 4 Award in Nutrition course is suitable for individuals requiring an understanding of diet & nutrition and their effect on health.
It is particularly beneficial for those in the health & safety and catering professions who have a role in promoting healthy eating or preparing meals and menus.

On completion of this, candidates will receive a Royal Society for Public Health (RSPH) Level 4 Award in Nutrition.

This course covers the following topics:
Principles of Nutrition
- Understanding the sources, functions and uses of macro and micro nutrients
- Understanding the energy, nutrient and hydration requirements of individuals throughout life
- Understanding the effects of diet on health
- Understanding legislation as it relates to labelling and advertising of foods
Expenses
This cost of this course is £895 + VAT.
In-house training & blended learning
This course can be completed as a blended option, combining part attendance and part distance learning, for an additional fee. The fee for the 'blended' option is £1095 plus VAT.
Ellison-Webb are also equipped to tailor training programmes for groups of staff and/or deliver them in-house or in their dedicated training centres in Birmingham and Cornwall.
