Course description
Fostering Virtual World Community Conversations
Providing virtual tools and resources to foster better communication across the community to impact change has become a critical component of the problem-solving process. Design thinking provides “social technologies” to channel conversations into more productive areas and provides structures to make for a safe environment for individuals involved in the problem-solving venture. Finding higher-order solutions is the key to buy-in and community-centered solutions through conversations that start at the grass root level, bringing about long-lasting sustainable change. This course teaches the process and introduces how various tools can bring together voices, leading crucial conversations to get to solutions that include new voices, change debate into change, and advance innovation.
