The IoSCM (Institute of Supply Chain Management) Level 5 range of qualifications is designed to give middle managers the top level knowledge and skills necessary to progress to a senior managerial position in the supply chain sector.
This distance learning course builds on candidates' existing abilities and experience, with the Award level programme requiring participants to complete one compulsory unit focusing on the business aspect of supply chain management. The Certificate and Diploma level programmes allow learners to advance still further, giving them the opportunity to choose among a range of elective and optional units in order to develop advanced technical skills in the areas of supply chain that are of greatest interest or relevance to them.
These units cover a range of specialist areas including international trade, logistics, operations management, purchasing, inventory, transport planning and more.The programmes are highly flexible, allowing students to complete the qualification at their own pace through a combination of study, assessments and evidence of previous experience where applicable.

Assessment & Qualification
There are no examinations for these qualifications.
Students are required to complete a number of assignments throughout the course, as well as submit evidence of previous experience/qualifications if applicable.
At the end of the programme, they will be awarded the IoSCM Level 5 Award, Certificate or Diploma in Managing the Supply Chain, depending on the course they complete.
