The ILM (Institute of Leadership and Management) Level 2 Award or Certificate is an introductory course for new or aspiring team leaders, designed to give them the skills and knowledge for a smooth transition from team member to team leader.
This distance learning course gives candidates the opportunity to achieve the Level 2 Award or Certificate, based on the number of units and credits they complete. The programme offers a broad range of optional units, designed to let students specialise in the areas most relevant to their workplace.

Assessment & Qualification
Assessment is normally via practical work-based assignments.
Successful candidates will be awarded the ILM Level 2 Award or Certificate in Team Leading, depending on how many credits they achieve.
Training Course Content
To gain the Award, students must achieve a minimum of 3 credits (from at least 2 units) or a maximum of 12 credits. To gain the Certificate, students must obtain at least 13 credits from any combination of units.
