The CIPS Level 6 Professional Diploma in Procurement and Supply is an advanced level qualification intended for those with more than three years of experience working in strategic management within the purchasing and procurement sector.
This distance learning course aims to deliver the skills needed to develop and implement strategic decisions regarding a company's supply chain direction. To this end, participants are required to complete three compulsory units covering leadership in procurement and supply, corporate strategy and strategic supply chain management. Candidates must then choose two out of three optional units based on the skills that will be most relevant to their role, including legal aspects of procurement, project & programme management or supply chain diligence.
By the end of the course, students will possess the knowledge and skills to manage the strategic direction of their organisation's supply chain in support of broader business goals.

Assessment & Qualification
Students must sit a three-hour written exam for each of the five units at an approved CIPS centre.
