The CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply is designed to give professionals with significant experience in the sector the knowledge and skills to develop unique, innovative solutions and approaches to the procurement function.
This distance learning course covers 5 units, three of which are compulsory and cover the managerial aspecst of purchasing and procurement, giving candidates an insight into the specific management techniques necessary for their function. This includes taking action to improve the competitiveness of supply chains as well as applying a range of techniques to manage supply chain risk effectively.
Students can then select a series of optional units, completing a further two according to their interests and/or the topics that are most relevant to their workplace or procurement roles.

Suitability - Who should attend?
This CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply course is suitable for professionals with a significant level of experience working in a purchasing & supply role and/or those who have successfully completed lower level CIPS qualifications.
Assessment & Qualification
Students must sit a three-hour written exam for each of the five units at an approved CIPS centre.
Successful candidates will be awarded the CIPS Level 5 Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply.
