Course description
The Autism for Educators Course is for students wanting to gain an understanding of autism and can give the student the ability to be effective when working with Autistic individuals. one in every one hundred children are now are diagnosed with autism, although this figure is increasing all the time and it is likely that many more children remain undiagnosed.
This means that autism is found in most schools. Larger schools will have several children with autism at any given time. As awareness increases and diagnostic criteria change, it is likely that all classrooms will have at least one child with autism in future.
At the end of this course, successful learners will receive a QLS Level 3 Endorsed Certificate of Achievementfrom the Quality Licence Scheme and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course)..
