Our Preparing to Work in Adult Social Care free online course will support those who are new to the sector or anyone who would like to work within adult health and social care. You will learn the role of a social care worker, concepts of caring, communication, personal development, equality, diversity and inclusion, safeguarding, and the person-centred approach. In 2022/2023, 1.52 million people in England work in the adult social care sector.  It is important for those working within the adult care sector to keep up to date and provide the best care for adults.  This course will help you gain an understanding of what it is like to work in the care sector.
