Operational Risks pose a major threat to financial institutions and have the ability to impact the safety and soundness of all firms. This course will allow Participants to gain a new or improved understanding of operational risk management. The programme includes a review of the Foundations of an Operational Risk Framework, the available tools and techniques for identifying, measuring, managing, monitoring and reporting Operational Risk and includes issues that will impact the effectiveness of the Operational Risk Framework and the value added. The course will also reflect on the regulators expectations, cover Operational Risk Governance, roles and responsibilities and emerging Operational Risk issues.
