IWFM in Facilities Management - Level 4 Diploma
Level 4 Diploma is for those aspiring to become Facilities Managers and provides a broad understanding of facilities management for experienced operations managers who are responsible for a wide range of FM functions.
The IWFM Level 4 Diploma is a 48-credit qualification made up of five mandatory units with a combined credit value of 29 and optional units with a combined value of at least 19 credits taking approximately 12 months to complete.
This is a challenging, stimulating and professionally relevant course which is designed to reflect the ability to identify and use relevant understanding, methods and skills to address problems that are well defined and complex and non-routine. It includes taking responsibility for action as well as exercising autonomy and judgement within broad parameters within facilities management.

No formal education background is needed but at least one year’s experience in FM is necessary.

The qualification is suitable for those aspiring to become facilities managers who wish to enhance their specialist and management skills and to qualify for membership of the IWFM by passing 9 units to gain the Diploma to gain the status subject to relevant work experience and to use the post nominal MIWFM.
