Supporting your future in Social Work
If you thrive on the unexpected and want to make a difference in people’s lives, social work could be the career for you. Our degree course is nationally recognised and will enable you to register with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a social worker.
Studied with the Faculty of Heath, Social Care and Education at Anglia Ruskin this course provides the knowledge, values and skills you will need to qualify as a social worker.
The Social Work foundation does not include any practical experience. Practical experience will be gained on progression to the degree programme.

Successful completion of this pathway will lead to the award of the following from Anglia Ruskin University:
- BA (Hons) Social Work

Suitability - Who should attend?
Academic Entry Requirement: 5 GCSE passes at grade 3 or above. For GCSE taken prior to 2017 a grade E or above will be accepted or a minimum of 19 points in the International Baccalaureate.
