British Small Animal Veterinary Association

BSAVA was founded in 1957 as a professional body to serve veterinary surgeons who treat companion animals and now has over 10,000 members. The majority of our members work in practice as veterinary surgeons or veterinary nurses. On behalf of our members, the BSAVA:

Encourages veterinary surgeons and nurses to develop their professional skills
Runs an extensive programme of continuing education courses and seminars
Hosts one of the biggest annual small animal conferences in Europe
Publishes books, online resources and videos on a diversity of small animal topics
Publishes the monthly Journal of Small Animal Practice and Companion, exclusive to members
