Course description

Mortgage Adviser Apprenticeship

Mortgage advice is given by a range of businesses direct to consumers via banks and building societies and independent brokers/advisers. The role of a Mortgage Adviser is to establish and fulfil customer mortgage requirements and provide information on related products in a regulated and compliant manner.

As a Mortgage Adviser you will work within the regulatory framework of financial services. Your role is to use exceptional communication skills to listen to clients, understand their needs and source mortgage products using your technical knowledge and expertise. The mortgage sector is a fast-paced sector that requires agility, resilience and the ability to build excellent relationships.

Through this programme, you will learn to develop your product knowledge within the context of your business and within the legal constraints of financial services. Understanding the market is a vital part of your learning and will help with the hands-on experience you gain.
