Working in financial services opens up a broad variety of careers, all of which are based on managing money, or consulting on managing money. You choose to study one of the following pathways; Investment Management and Retail or Commercial Banking.

Suitability - Who should attend?
You must be employed in a role relevant to this programme to be eligible to apply. Entry requirements are set by individual employers, but the requirements for each pathway are as follows:
Investment Management
CFA Level I:
- You will need at least four years work experience or a degree before taking CFA Level I
PCIAM:
- CISI Level 4 Investment Advice Diploma; or
- IMC + CISI Level 4 Securities or Derivatives
- Retail or Commercial Banking
A minimum of GCSE grade C or above in English and mathematics
Training Course Content
Induction
Designed to set you up for success from the very beginning, the induction will make sure you understand your programme and what I expected of you. It will consist of a Virtual Classroom (Online) from BPP, and an initial meeting with your Coach where you will agree your Learning Plan.
Professional Qualification
The modules covered will depend on the pathway and qualification chosen:
- CFA Level 1; or
- CISI Private Client Investment Advice and Management (PCIAM); or
- Associated Chartered Banker Diploma

The skills and Behaviours for this programme are the same for all pathways. These are developed alongside your qualification and you will need to demonstrate how you apply these at work.

External End Point Assessment
Once you have completed all of the Knowledge, Skills and Behaviours, you will complete an End Point Assessment. This is conducted by an external assessment organisation and you will be graded as a pass, fail, or distinction.
