Overview
The preparation of consolidated financial statements is a challenging task for accountants working in professional practice and industry. The single entity concept shall be applied, following the accounting and disclosure requirements within UK GAAP. The audit of groups is governed by ISA 600, a standard which regulators tell us is often misunderstood and poorly executed.
This half-day seminar will cover the basic accounting treatment for preparing consolidated financial statements, including goodwill. Followed by applying a practical approach to auditing group financial statements in accordance with ISA 600.
