This 18 months qualification gives you the opportunity to build both your managerial and care skills, allowing you to help more people. It also fulfils the regulatory requirement for those looking to become managers of children’s homes or adult
residential and domiciliary services.
Who are they for?
This qualification is for those already working in health and social care. You might be an assistant or deputy manager, or a manager who has not yet achieved a recognised vocational qualification at this level.

Are there any learner eligibility requirements?
All learners must be employed as managers in the social care service sector. Learners must make sure they can access all the resources they need to complete the qualification.
How Will The Course Run
Assessment Method/Assessor Support: This will be undertaken via a combination of assignment work and practical work based observation
You will have regular face to face contact with your assessors and this will also include 1 to 1 sessions and group session. Outside lesson time contact can be made with your assessor via the telephone, video call and online chat via our system.
Online: You will be given access to BOCK’s G Drive online system which gives you access to free word processing, spreadsheet and presentation applications and also allows you to work from desktops, laptops, tablets and smartphones from any location.
Our system will contain all your learning materials and also your online portfolio where you will be able to store your work electronically and receive feedback from your assessors.
Duration: 18 – 24 months
