Introductory Certificate in Counselling
This module is intended to introduce the subject of counselling and begin to help students develop their competence in the use of basic counselling skills. Elements of core therapeutic approaches will be introduced, (including Humanistic, Cognitive-Behavioural and Psychodynamic) with links to how these relate to skills and counselling interventions.

Continuing Studies

Examples might include the development of pastoral or support aspects of a role using embedded counselling skills such as those acquired on the Introductory Certificate.
