Introduction to GDPR
A 1 day course that will give delegates an overview of GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation). This new legislation is brought to us by the European Union (agreed prior to Brexit) and is designed to ensure the protection of data and information.
Delegates will learn a detailed understanding of:

- Why data protection is changing
- Comparison with Data Protection Act 1998
- Changes in legislation
- Structure
- Key principles and rights
- Terminology
- Compliance
- Financial implications of non-compliance
- Reporting a data breach
