What will I learn?

Working with Others in the Hair and Beauty Sector
Basic Make-Up Application
Create a Hair and Beauty Image
Nail Art Application
Presenting a Professional Image in a Salon
The purpose of this qualification is to develop your skills in Beauty Therapy and will provide you with the foundation for further learning. It will also enable you to perform your own basic services and to assist others in the Salon.
How will I be taught?
You will be taught in our fully equipped beauty classrooms using all the latest massage and beauty equipment.
The practical units are combined together with the theory such as Anatomy and Physiology. The treatments are practiced on each other in the beauty classrooms ready for assessments.
How will I be assessed?
Assessment will take place throughout the course from attendance, punctuality, grooming, attitude and effort but to pass the qualification, you will also need to pass the following competently -
Tests
Written Assignments
Practical Assessments
What can I do after this course?
Beauty Therapy can take you wherever you want it to. You just need motivation, dedication and commitment to the course and yourself.
There is a wide range of opportunities at Level 2 and beyond for you to progress on to further study in the beauty therapy, media make-up or hairdressing sectors.
