Course description
All our courses are designed to cover the full range of topics and tasks as laid down by the awarding body in response to industry requirements. All practical activities are carried out within our state-of-the-art workshops under the supervision of industry skilled instructors, and theory work will be a mix of classroom assignments and exam activities delivered by lecturing staff that have a wide range of industry skills. The course consists of assessment units that assess the competence of a candidate over a wide range of activities. There will be a high emphasis on health and safety and correct working methods. The unit titles are: 1 Health and safety in building services engineering 2 Principles of electrical science 3 Electrical Installations technology 4 Installation of wiring systems and enclosures 5 Understand how to communicate with others within building services engineering
