The Presentation Skills course will provide you with the necessary skills to stand out from the crowd and make a positive and memorable impact on your audience, whether you are presenting in a business context at an interview, meeting, seminar or networking event or if you are presenting in a personal social setting. This 1 day Confident Presentation Skills course will benefit anyone who is involved in delivering presentations in their job role or in a non-work related capacity and also anyone who is required to speak in public to an audience.
It is aimed at people who are both new to presenting who are looking to learn new skills, increase their confidence and acquire an insight into how to prepare and plan for a presentation. It is also suitable for those who have some experience but who are looking to update their skills and learn new techniques and practices.

- Anticipating “sticky” situations
- Picking the perfect venue
- Anticipating audience behaviours
- The “image” and “etiquette” of the presenter
Delivering Presentations
- Creating lasting impressions
- Maximising your use of words, tone of voice and non verbal communication to create an impact
- Managing audience interaction
- Grabbing and holding your audience's attention
- Managing difficult audiences and difficult individuals
- Getting your audience to participate
- Using visual aids to enhance your presentation
- Handling difficult questions
- Establishing and maintain your credibility
Practical Session
The day ends with an opportunity for your to put your new skills into practice by delivering a short presentation to the course trainer and your fellow Participants and receiving positive and constructive feedback on your performance in a supportive environment.
