Aston Business School - Open & Bespoke Management Programmes from the Centre for Executive Development
One of Aston University's four Schools of Study, Aston Business School (ABS) is one of the UK's top performing business- and industry-focused training institutions.

Centre for Executive Development and Professional Managers' Award
Within ABS, the Centre for Executive Development focuses on the high level level training needed to enhance executive capability, with a view to achieving corporate strategy and producing measurable benefits for an organisation.
The Centre's portfolio includes a customised executive development service that involves working in partnership with clients to deliver the customised programmes necessary to train executives according to the company's specific vision, ethos and area(s) of activity. Blending research-based thinking with tried-and-tested training techniques, these programmes explore specific agendas to deliver two key results: greater opportunities for high performers, stronger results for coporate clients.
In addition, the Centre has now worked on developing a number of short open programmes focused on building specific skill-sets for executives operating across a range of coporate environments. First and foremost among these is the newly launched Aston Professional Managers' Award - an intensive, inspiring executive development programme for professionals looking to fast track their career to senior management with a set of key business skills and insights. It consists of of five 2-day modules delivered over a period of 10 months, which are then supported by an impact / implementation webinar hosted approximately 6 weeks after each module, as well as a Learning Journal in which delegates keep track of their level of understanding throughout the duration of the course. Together, these elements work to produce the tangible management development results needed for delegates to improve their decision-making, accelerate their careers and deliver measurable business results from day one.
