Course description
Revit training course for beginners, teaching the concepts behind BIM and key Revit techniques specific to architecture, structural design and MEP.
Our Revit Essentials course (3 days) teaches how architects and structural engineers use Revit. Our Revit MEP Essentials course (also 3 days) teaches Revit from the point of view of MEP designers. This course covers the techniques taught in both of the above courses. (You can cover these topics in 5 days, as the first day is common to both courses.)
Armada is a long-standing Autodesk-authorised Training Centre (ATC), accredited to provide training in Revit. Courses are hosted by Autodesk Certified Instructors (ACIs) with vast experience of using Revit professionally.
Training is designed for the busy professional, being fast-paced and intensive. The tuition combines lecture, demonstration and practical exercises carried out under guidance. It goes beyond a basic ‘how to’ approach, offering best practice advice. Delegates have ample opportunity to discuss their specific requirements and issues with the trainer.

Revit Essentials course information
Training is based primarily on Revit 2025. It is relevant to users of Revit 2020 and later.
Delegates will need the full version of Revit for this course, at Revit LT doesn't have any MEP functionality.
Suitability - Who should attend?
Pre-requisites:
Delegates should have a basic understanding of construction techniques. You do not necessarily need to have any existing CAD experience.
Online delegates need access to a Windows computer with a stable internet connection to use throughout the training.

- We’ll make the course files and resources available to you ahead of the course.
- Your training is hands-on: you’ll practice and carry out exercises throughout.
- If you don’t have access to to Revit, we’ll send you a link to fully-functional trial software that you can download for your course.
- If you need assistance, you can share your screen with our trainer, and pass control to them.
- You’ll receive an e-certificate confirming successful completion of an Autodesk-accredited course.
