Course description
City & Guilds Manual Handling Train the Trainer (Virtual Course)
We can now offer this course in a virtual format – using live online sessions with one of our regular trainers via Zoom. For the open courses, we run these events as 1/2 day, 1/2 day and full day - i.e. a total of 2 days but spread over 3.
The course will provide the technical knowledge, training skills and course material to design, develop and deliver effective manual handling training. Key benefits of the course:
- Nationally recognised certificate - the UK’s most popular course on this subject
- Caters for a range of experience levels and sectors
- Highly experienced instructors running the course
- Participants receive a unique manual handling instructor pack
- The course has been mapped to NOS (National Occupational Standards)
- Results provided at the end of the course (no need to complete lengthy post-course assignments which delay you becoming a certified manual handling instructor for several months)
- No expiry date on the certificate (you can make your own judgement regarding the frequency of refresher training. We suggest every 3 years)
The course concentrates upon the safe handling of materials and objects (rather than patients). Therefore, it is suitable for sectors such as manufacturing, office, construction, distribution, estates, catering, defence, logistics, driver CPC etc. as well as non-clinical healthcare.
