ABOUT THE COURSE

This Software Testing Foundation course as been designed to prepare delegates for the Certified Tester Foundation Level examination. This Foundation level qualification is appropriate for anyone who wants more than a basic understanding of the concepts of software testing and takes approximately 21 hours to complete.

The Software Testing Foundation course explains the fundamentals of testing.

DURATION: This online learning takes approximately 21 hours to complete.

PRE-REQUISITES:There are no formal entry requirements however, you should have a basic working IT knowledge.

Objectives

The Business Outcomes expected of a candidate who has achieved Software Testing Foundation certification are as follows:

  • promote efficient and effective communication by using a common vocabulary for software testing;
  • understand fundamental concepts of software testing;

Certification

As a course participant, you are offered the opportunity to take ISTQB Foundation certification directly after the course (cost for certification is included in the course price).

The examination, which consists of 40 multiple-choice questions, is normally conducted in connection with the course in collaboration with SSTB. The examination can be done in English or Swedish but the recommendation is to write in English due to English material.The Foundation Certificate is awarded to the participants who pass the examination. To pass, at least 65% of the questions (ie 26) must be answered correctly.
