We promote the Applying Professional Scrum course as preparation for the Professional Scrum Master level I (PSM I) scrum certification. The exercises and content in the APS course suit the requirements of the PSM I level certification indicating a common understanding and language of Scrum.

Who Should Attend
The Applying Professional Scrum course is the perfect introduction, reboot or refresher to Scrum. This course is for teams or anyone wanting to experience the Scrum way of working. The course also provides the foundational Scrum knowledge needed for those wishing to continue their education with role-focused (Scrum Master, Product Owner, Developer, Leader) training classes.
Students make the most of the class if they:
- Have studied the Scrum Guide (required)
- Have Passed the Scrum Open Assessment
Outcome / Qualification etc.
The Applying Professional Scrum course has the Professional Scrum Master level I (PSM I) as associated Scrum certification. All participants completing the Applying Professional Scrum course receive a password to take the PSM I assessment. This industry-recognized scrum certification requires a minimum passing score on the associated assessment. Scrum.org maintains a public list with everyone holding a PSM I credential. Microsoft uses the PSM I assessment to validate knowledge as part of its Silver and Gold Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) competencies.
Objectives
