Training Course Content
What you'll learn
You will learn not only about the creative industry, but you'll also undertake practical workshops with skilled professionals to develop your digital art skills. This will involve traditional art techniques as well, but with the focus on digital art skills.
You will use a range of industry-standard software throughout the course. You will primarily be using Adobe software (Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Audition and After Effects) as well as 3D software, such as Autodesk 3DS Max.
Then, develop your skills further with industry-grade kit! Explore cameras, lighting, and green screen work to produce high-quality concepts/digital artwork.
In Year 1, you will be introduced to the fundamentals of the Media, Games and Design industry, develop your research skills, and build on your art and digital skills. You will work on projects that will allow you to explore and develop your design skills until the Final Major Project at the end of the year.
Upon successful completion of Year 1, you will be invited to push the skills you have learned even further in Year 2. You will also have the chance to work from industry-standard briefs, which will teach you how to produce content for professional clients and begin developing your professional skills and portfolio.
Throughout the two years, you will also be offered a range of work experience opportunities with live clients.
