GCSE English Part Time: Day
This course comprises lessons of 3 hours a week plus blended learning through our virtual-learning environment and other online resources.

What you’ll learn
The course aims to develop your abilities:
- To communicate effectively in speech and writing
- To listen with understanding
- To be enthusiastic responsive and knowledgeable readers.
You will have the opportunity to talk and listen in a variety of contexts read a wide variety of literature non-fiction and media texts.
Course delivery details
- You will learn though traditional and e-learning methods.
- You will need to be prepared for extra study and spend around three hours per week on studying away from the classroom.
- Resources will be provided (both paper-based and e-based).
- In some cases, Google Chromebooks will be provided in class, where you can utilise live writing tools such as Google Docs and Google Communities.
- Assessment is both within the college and by external exam.
