What you'll learn
You will learn, develop, and practise the skills required for employment and/or career progression in the cycle maintenance and building sector.
Topics include:
- Puncture repair and inner tube replacement
- Rim brake removal, refitting and adjustment
- Basic gear system removal and refitting
- Comprehensive safety checks
- Health and safety in the workshop
- British standards for selling new bikes
- Employability skills
Continuing Studies
You can progress to a Level 2 Cycle Mechanics course or Cytech Level 2.
