Course description

7 Skills for the future

Online interactive master class - 2-3 hours

This workshop is designed for university staff.

Critical, creative and collaborative thinking are in demand more than ever before. In a world of uncertainty, creative thinking and critical thinking are all about nurturing curiosity and fluidity, being able to generate lots of different ideas and being willing to try out different approaches to solving problems.

We are all creative thinkers but can often create our own barriers to tapping into this effectively. We tell ourselves we aren’t creative, that we don’t have time, that we don’t want to risk failure by trying something new or we convince ourselves that a creative approach just won’t work.

This session will help you unpick some of these barriers, encourage you to tap into your natural creativity using practical tools that you can apply to typical scenarios you face as well as everyday situations so that you will be confident in creative thinking and critical thinking.

This bespoke session can be delivered online or face-to-face.

Suitability - Who should attend?

It is specifically for university staff and 7 Skills For the Future works with a range of leading universities delivering these workshops, including the University of the Arts, London Southbank University and University College Birmingham.
