The Global PA Association & Training Academy was established in 2007 in London and has been leading the way globally on upskilling the potential of the Office Professional sector. The sector is identified as including Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants, Secretaries, Admin Assistants, Office Managers, Team Assistants, and others.

In partnership with Kingston University Business School, we conducted academic research, which was published in academic journals in 2012. This research is the largest sample in the world related to the sector and identified that over 60% of office professionals are qualified to degree level. It confirmed that companies would grow faster if this workforce sector was included in career pathways through their organisation.

At SquareOne Training we take pride in designing Spreadsheets for our customers, so we were delighted to be asked to design a solution to track staff courses and KPI alerts. This spreadsheet was implemented in 2018, but completely changed the way the company worked and made the data not only accurate but trackable.

Earlier this year 10 of our colleagues attended the Microsoft 365 Bootcamp Training with SquareOne. Although we already had the Microsoft 365 package in the business, we were not using it to its full potential. The training provided us with a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft 365, enabling us to utilise it effectively and it has already had a positive impact on the way we work.
