This is a business that manufactures and sells a range of hi-tech and smart watches through high street and online retailers. Customer relationships were managed through a team of account managers who were motivated, committed, and successful.

The business had identified a need to develop customer relationships to ensure business retention and future growth, critical to this would be the account management team been recognised as ‘Business Partners’ collaborating with customer stakeholders to achieve mutually agreed growth targets.

The Challenge

To enable capable sales managers to make the transition from manager to business leader. The goal was to develop the leadership and business skills needed to run a team of people balancing performance, behaviours, and profitability.

To deliver this training with an accreditation process, whereby participants can demonstrate personal progress.

The Challenge

This client is a food manufacturer operating a global business. When TLSA became involved, the client was in the middle of a strategic plan designed to achieve challenging growth objectives.

Leadership development was identified as critical to delivering the growth targets. One of the key challenges was to establish a ‘Sales Director: Executive Sales Leader’ group with the capability and potential to deliver on a country-by-country basis.

In collaboration with MPW Learning, a programme called ‘Leadership Pathway Programme’ was designed to bring all of the skills of a large high street charity organisation management team up to date. After introduction of the programme, common working practices were restructured, productivity increased and management satisfaction improved.

The LEAD management programme provides an intensive introduction to the world of people management, focusing on achieving results with and through people. The programme is highly practical and the return on investment starts the minute the delegate re-enters their working environment.

Attending the LEAD programme equipped Ellen Carter with the right tools and techniques along with the confidence and competence to implement her Making A Difference project ahead of schedule during these very challenging times.

Samantha has been with MotoNovo for over 15 years and has worked her way up the MotoNovo career path ladder which has include her roles as an Input and Payout Administrator, Key Account Manager and a Campaign Account Manager.

Leading the Way in Developing the Untapped Reservoir of Talent in the Office Professional Sector Through Accredited Professional Training and CPD Activities

The Global PA Association & Training Academy was established in 2007 in London and has been leading the way globally on upskilling the potential of the Office Professional sector. The sector is identified as including Executive Assistants, Personal Assistants, Secretaries, Admin Assistants, Office Managers, Team Assistants, and others.

In partnership with Kingston University Business School, we conducted academic research, which was published in academic journals in 2012. This research is the largest sample in the world related to the sector and identified that over 60% of office professionals are qualified to degree level. It confirmed that companies would grow faster if this workforce sector was included in career pathways through their organisation.
