Course description

The University of Nottingham

There is an increasing interest in the measurement and control of chronic pain in companion animals as we care for and treat a population of animals now living longer.

Further understanding of aspects of neurophysiology are enabling clinicians to offer more innovative and effective techniques of analgesia to their patients and clients.  This webinar will bring participants up to date with the current theories of pain transmission, evaluate the drugs and modalities on offer and the evidence behind their use.  Using a case based approach, the clinician and veterinary nurse/technician will be able to follow real case examples of chronic pain scenarios.

This one hour Webinar will be delivered by Kate L White, MA Vet MB DVA Dipl ECVAA MRCVS on Tuesday 2nd October at 8.00pm.
