5 Days of Fashion Journalism
Are you curious about what goes on behind the scenes of a Condé Nast Publications magazine? This intensive five-day programme is suitable for anyone interested in a career in fashion and lifestyle journalism, who is keen to find out more about the discipline and develop and refine their writing skills.
During the course you will research and come up with ideas for articles and also explore online options that will allow you to add to your portfolio.
There will be talks from Condé Nast staff and other fashion media experts on a range of subjects such as understanding your audience, generating features ideas, trend reporting, writing fashion news, and the art of interviewing.
The course will also look at the work of experienced writers and editors, and explore the language of fashion. You will discover how magazines operate, how revenue is generated from media content, and the key characteristics of print and digital formats.

Suitability - Who should attend?
This course is suitable for anyone who would like to get a flavour of the fashion media industry. No prior knowledge or experience of the topic are required.
There are no formal entry requirements.
Students must be aged at least 18 years old on 31st August at the start of the academic year in which they intend to join this course. An academic year runs 1st September-31st August annually. For the duration of the academic year, a student is considered to be their academic age for admissions purposes, regardless of when their birthday falls within that academic year.
Outcome / Qualification etc.
By the end of the course, you will receive a Condé Nast College of Fashion & Design Certificate of Completion.

Students can expect to attend class Monday to Friday, from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.
